Softonic, a leading software distribution platform with a presence in 18 countries, is embarking on a transformation journey to achieve its growth ambition. With a team of 120 talented individuals primarily based in Spain and France, the company believes that its people are its greatest asset. To support this vision, Softonic is seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to join its executive team as the Global Head of People and Organizational Development.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping a unified global team, particularly as the company moves forward with its recent acquisition. This role involves acting as a trusted coach and mentor to all levels of the organisation, bringing global experience and passion for excellence.

Reporting directly to the CEO and leading a dedicated team of five, the successful candidate will be bold, inspiring, and driven, placing people at the centre of every decision. They will have a strong background in leading culture change programs and be ready to make a significant impact.

The role will involve:

  • Culture Transformation Program: Shaping and leading the culture transformation program to ensure alignment with the company's strategy and ambitions, creating an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative work environment where living values is crucial.
  • Talent Attraction and Retention: Defining and developing innovative strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent passionate about the company's mission and growth journey.
  • Leadership Development: Ensuring highly qualified and inspiring leaders and managers are empowered with training, mentoring, and coaching to lead their teams with confidence.
  • Organizational Structure: Designing and implementing people strategies that fuel the success of the evolving company, including organizational structure to support the ambitious transformation and acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate will also act as a trusted advisor and coach to the CEO and executive team, offering insights and guidance that drive meaningful change. Additionally, they will develop and implement action plans to integrate the Spanish and French teams post-acquisition, ensuring a smooth transition and a unified company culture.

In this role, you will foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. You will drive employee engagement and satisfaction through initiatives aligned with KPIs and other HR and business metrics. Furthermore, you will define strategy for internal communication efforts, lead, mentor, and develop a team of people, providing guidance and support in all aspects of HR management.

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
