Position: Systems Engineer for Large Infrastructure Projects (Madrid/ Barcelona/ Bilbao)
Responsibilities
• Manage the identification of system requirements in accordance with the Requirements Management Procedure, led by each Discipline Requirement Owner/Engineer.
• Identify requirements sources and rationale, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and maintenance of Project requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria for requirements and communicate changes, revisions, non-compliances, departures, etc. to the Requirements Team.
• Conduct system requirement definition and subsystem decomposition, utilizing established tools and methodologies.
• Review and acceptance of compliance evidence against requirement within their area of responsibility to establish requirements acceptance and progressive assurance.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions, acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Undertake technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses at all levels of total system 'product.'
• Prepare documentation with the end goal of system qualification and product certification.
• Provide overall direction for the development of the Requirements Management Database and set the structure of the Requirements Management Database.
• Chair the Requirements Database configuration management meeting.
Education & Skills Requirements:
• Software / Systems / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineer with a holistic, systemic view of projects.
• Experience in the application of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 Systems and software engineering -- System life cycle processes.
Estimated Salary Range: €60,000 - €90,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
