Job Title: Structured Finance & M&A Analyst

Robert Walters Spain is seeking a highly skilled Structured Finance & M&A Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Structured Finance team, you will be responsible for financial modelling, debt structuring, and project valuation for renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate project viability and debt financing options.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and financial institutions to ensure smooth financial close processes.
  • Prepare financial models for renewable energy tenders and power purchase agreements.
  • Support the Head of Structured Finance & M&A in negotiations with financial entities and documentation review.
  • Provide assistance to other departments on project contracts and financing conditions.
  • Follow up on documentation related to project financing and compliance.
  • Coordinate and draft information for internal committee approvals.
  • Support communication with internal stakeholders and teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, project finance, and debt structuring.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financing modelling and sensitivities.
  • Demonstrable financial modelling experience, including project finance models.
  • Knowledge of project finance modelling key processes and variables.
  • Familiarity with structured finance and M&A execution processes.
  • Project Management skills to lead teams towards transaction execution.
  • English and Spanish language proficiency.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork.
Additional Information:

This is a permanent position with a salary range of €60,000 - €70,000 annually.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and project management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
