Financial Operations Role at Ebury

We are expanding our operations in León and seeking a Financial Operations Graduate to drive our growth. This is a hybrid role, with 4 days spent in the office and 1 day working from home. As part of our León team, you will be responsible for various tasks, including client payment instruction and verification, payment beneficiary completion, and communication with clients. Your duties will also include reconciliations, investigation of unallocated funds, and funding client trades. To succeed in this role, you will need to be proactive, have good communication skills, and be able to work under pressure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruction and verification of client payments in line with internal processes and SLAs
  • Completion of payment beneficiaries in accordance with internal processes
  • Resolving client queries and issues via email, phone, and chat
  • Contributing to the creation and manual enrichment of transaction reporting files
  • Reconciling client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements
  • Funding client trades where manual funding is required
  • Checking and confirming payment status in third-party banking and payment platforms
  • Updating client information and communicating task status to colleagues and supervisors
  • Adhering to internal policies, processes, and procedures


Requirements:
  • Practice good office etiquette through punctuality, attendance, and behaviour
  • Proactive and able to work under strict timeframes
  • Diligent with good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and fluency in Spanish and English
  • Co-operative and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Curious and eager to learn, actively asking questions to confirm understanding of processes
  • Motivated to contribute to Ebury's success
