About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our AI4S research group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in the field of multi-agent systems, investigating and designing methods and models for combined symbolic and sub-symbolic reasoning, scalable architectures for HPC computing, encoding, interpretation, and analysis of social values and norms, and explainability.
  • Design and lead experiments for the methods and models researched, implementing reliable, reproducible, and automated training and evaluation methodologies.
  • Lead the efforts in integrating and exploiting the work done in other HPAI projects where it may be applicable.
  • Document and disseminate the work done through publications and presentations.
Requirements
  • PhD in a STEM discipline.
  • Experience in a research-oriented position (one year minimum).
  • Experience in writing scientific papers (two peer-reviewed papers, in the relevant topics, minimum).
  • Experience in multi-agent systems (two years minimum).
  • Experience in reinforcement learning (six months minimum).
  • Experience in intelligent agent architectures (six months minimum).
