About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our AI4S research group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and international team conducting cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in the field of multi-agent systems, focusing on combined symbolic and sub-symbolic reasoning, scalable architectures for HPC computing, encoding, interpretation, and analysis of social values and norms, and explainability.
  • Design and lead experiments for the methods and models researched, ensuring reliable, reproducible, and automated training and evaluation methodologies.
  • Integrate and exploit the work done in other HPAI projects where applicable.
  • Document and disseminate the research findings through publications and presentations.
Requirements
  • PhD in a STEM discipline, preferably in Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a research-oriented position.
  • Two peer-reviewed papers in the relevant topics.
  • Experience in multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, and intelligent agent architectures.
  • Fluent English and Spanish, with Catalan being desirable.
