Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our R&D Hub Analysis Team at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S. A. As a key member of our department, you will play a pivotal role in designing cutting-edge hub modules for our next-generation turbines.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing structural calculations, using FEA and analytical methods according to Eurocode and certified guidelines. Your expertise will be crucial to ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of primarily steel and cast iron structures, both under extreme and fatigue conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement structural calculations for wind turbine hubs
  • Use FEA and analytical methods to ensure structural integrity and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge hub modules
  • Provide valuable inputs for field and prototype testing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong background in structural engineering and calculations
