About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer Composites CATIA to join our team at Bold Valuable Technology. As a key member of our engineering division, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of composites laminates and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Design composite components, tooling, and jigs using CATIA V5 or 3DX, and generate drawings using CATIA V5 (or V6) for composite components, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support manufacturing requirements.
  2. Technical Solutions and Client Contact: Be responsible for technical solutions and client contact, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 2 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in the composites industry.
  2. Education: Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent R&D design experience.
  3. Language Skills: Proficient in English.
  4. Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge and experience of Catia v5 / 3DX, good work practice of surfaces and solids, and broad understanding of CATIA functions and the structuring of Generator files, publications, and save management structure for large master product files.
  5. Additional Skills: Excellent understanding of parametric modeling and stable tree structures required to support agile geometry development, understanding of the applications of GD&T and process limitations of composite materials when tolerancing and defining geometries, and understanding of composite manufacturing methods.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  1. Experience in F1 or other Motorsport disciplines.
  2. FEA and/or CFD experience.
