* Achieve plant objectives, measured by key indicators in EHS, productivity, budget control, team, and technical reliability.
* Prepare and execute projects safely, within deadlines, and respecting scope, budget, and quality agreed with stakeholders.
General:
* Develop and implement standards and procedures for technological projects, including automation, industry 4.0, and IT.
* Ensure compliance with local EHS/Q regulations and Westlake standards for assigned projects.
Projects:
* Deliver assigned projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and scope agreed. Focus on electrical and automation topics, but may include other areas depending on site needs.
* Execute construction phases during shutdown windows, typically in summer and Christmas.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree or equivalent. Preferred Electronic Engineering or similar.
* Postgraduate specialization in Electricity/Automation/New Technologies or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a similar position > 5 years. Industry experience > 10 years (preferred).
* Fully certified for relevant maintenance activities. Fluent English at conversation level.
* Detailed knowledge of HMI and control platforms, including high-level troubleshooting.
* Experience and knowledge in operating and maintaining process equipment typical of the chemical industry.
* Experience and knowledge in equipment operating in ATEX classified areas.
