Job Title: Configuration Specialist for Global Pricing Platform

At Zurich, we are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Business Technology Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development environments and infrastructure for our Guidewire-based global, business-critical application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the stability and availability of the GPP development and production environments
  • Work with internal technical teams to ensure GPP environments meet IT security and software standards
  • Responsible for changes made to environment configurations
  • Collaborate with the IT hosting partner to organize and manage higher environment deployments
  • Monitor higher environments using corporate tools to identify and resolve issues
  • Ensure environments are up-to-date in terms of vulnerabilities and software versions
  • Manage Service Now incident tickets related to GPP environments
  • Manage system outages and work to restore services with necessary teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Studies, or similar
  • CI/CD skills in continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Basic knowledge in application servers like Apache tomcat
  • Analytical thinking and quick problem-solving skills
  • Fast learning, self-motivated, proactive, and able to show initiative
  • Positive attitude with ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management experience
