About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our team in Argentona, Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and operations meet the highest quality standards and comply with applicable regulations in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Direct and develop a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team effectiveness and engagement.
- Quality Assurance Management: Oversee and coordinate quality assurance activities, including deviation management, investigations, usage decisions, corrective and preventive actions, and document and process reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Quality Oversight: Support validation activities and decisions for systems and processes, change control, document control, internal and external audits, quality control, and other relevant ISO/GMP activities within the department.
- Microbiology Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the management of microbiological risks in processes and products manufactured at BMA.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality process improvements and collaborate with other teams to implement effective changes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate quality risks, taking preventive and corrective actions as necessary. Identify and manage appropriate quality KPIs for effective risk management.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments, ensuring efficient collaboration across the organization.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (pharmacy, chemistry, biology, etc.).
- Experience: 5-7 years of quality assurance experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Industry Regulations: Knowledge of industry regulations (ISO 13485, cGMP).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills in a regulated, quality-focused environment.
- Language: English level B2, preferably C1.
- Microbiology Knowledge: Microbiology knowledge.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Data-driven decision-making.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication.
- Continuous Improvement Orientation: Continuous improvement orientation.
