We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Services Sourcing Manager to join our team at Ace Handyman Services Southern Maine. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating purchasing activities and processes for civil, electrical, and other building services.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Negotiation: Establish requests for quotations (RFQs) and negotiate civil and electrical construction services, and other services for wind turbine configuration, including commercial and operational terms.
- Supplier Management: Establish a base of specialized suppliers and manage purchasing framework and purchasing strategies.
- Acquisition Record Keeping: Maintain records of acquisitions, such as items or services quoted, purchased, and costs.
- Cost Estimation: Provide cost estimates for projects in the sales phase.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Terms and Conditions Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions to effectively achieve company and project objectives.
- Process Improvement: Implement and improve process standards at a global level to facilitate the day-to-day activity.
- Reporting: Report achievements and challenges on a regular basis.
- Education: Bachelor or master's in engineering (civil and/or electrical).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and/or supplier negotiations, preferably in the Civil or Renewable Energy sector.
- Language Skills: High level in English (min. C1) and international experience.
- Skills: Good negotiation and communication skills, experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks, developing strategies for risk prevention/control, autonomous and flexible, can-do attitude, intercultural understanding, and experience in working with different cultures.
- Travel Requirements: You are ready to travel from time to time within the country or abroad.
- Work Environment: Autonomy and flexibility for the development of your work, almost 100% teleworking with a visit once a week that will help you combine work and family life.
