About the Role

Solera Corporation is seeking a skilled Java Developer to contribute to the development of our key products for the international market.

The successful candidate will work as part of a Scrum squad focused on delivering features on specific products or projects, collaborating closely with Product and Business colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Translate business requirements into technical deliverables, ensuring seamless integration with our domain-driven and microservices architecture.
  2. Develop new features, extending existing applications, and modernizing monolithic systems to enhance our software development lifecycle.
  3. Investigate and resolve defects in mission-critical systems, taking ownership of feature delivery in a DevOps culture.
  4. Contribute to core architecture and technical design standards, driving innovation and excellence in our software development processes.

Requirements

  1. At least 4 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java and Spring.
  2. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on software development and engineering.
  3. Proficiency in REST APIs, Git, and Maven, with experience building large-scale web applications.
  4. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, with professional proficiency in English.

Desirable Skills

  1. Experience in Frontend development, building responsive UIs, and expertise in Application Lifecycle Management, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery/Deployment processes.
  2. Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven, Microservices, and Hexagonal Architectures, with experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
  3. Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration, with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
