Job Title: Offshore Wind Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Project Manager to join our team at Mott MacDonald. As a key member of our Energy unit, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of offshore wind consultancy projects for clients worldwide.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in the offshore wind industry. You will be responsible for coordinating internal and external resources, reviewing and accepting deliverables, managing budgets and timelines, and providing technical input to clients.

You will also be involved in the preparation of bids for new work and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from initial assessment to technical and economic feasibility, due diligence, construction monitoring, and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of offshore wind consultancy projects for clients worldwide
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project success
  • Review and accept deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Manage budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide technical input to clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare bids for new work and participate in business development activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on offshore wind
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong technical knowledge of offshore wind turbine technologies and market conditions
