**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Director to lead our plant in Bilbao, Spain. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee the development and execution of strategic plans, manage resources efficiently, and drive business growth.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Set objectives for all plant areas, ensuring the efficient use of assigned resources (technical, human, financial, etc.).
  • Distribute tasks derived from strategic plans, ensuring timely completion.
  • Establish plant indicators, applying corrective measures to meet client commitments (annual production plan).
  • Manage investments necessary to maintain business competitiveness (CAPEX/OPEX).
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring quality and delivery time expectations are met.
  • Monitor plant expenses, manage operating budgets, and optimize costs to ensure profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance, generating reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Plan and monitor prototype and new industrialization realizations.
  • Train personnel, setting objectives and evaluating compliance.
  • Review and approve contracts related to the business.
  • Approve annual budgets (including billing plans).
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations compliance at the plant and environmental management regulations compliance at the plant.
  • Implement staff motivation actions promoting participation, integration, and work environment improvement.
  • Promote team professional growth, ensuring employees have necessary skills.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement using organizational methodology and processes.

**Requirements:**

  • Engineering degree - technical engineering or higher.
  • Experience in multinational companies in the heavy industry sector.
  • Experience in continuous improvement.
  • More than 15 years of experience in technical and/or production departments.
  • Extensive knowledge in Quality of both process and product.
  • Languages: proficient in English and Spanish.
  • IT/office automation (programs, languages, operating systems): recommended knowledge in Office automation - spreadsheets, intranet.
  • Integrated packages: Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio.
  • Management tools: SAP, JIRA.

**Estimated Salary:** €90,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
