Job Summary:
The Area Manager - North Luzon is a key role within the Jollibee Group, responsible for driving business growth and development in the North Luzon region. This individual will lead a team of Restaurant Managers and Franchisees, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful operation of stores within the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and development within the North Luzon region, and develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Store Operations: Provide guidance and support to Restaurant Managers and Franchisees to ensure the successful operation of stores within the area.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to Restaurant Managers and Franchisees to ensure they are meeting business objectives.
- Customer and Merchandising Programs: Audit the execution of customer and merchandising programs within the area, and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance.
- FSC Management: Manage high FSC attainment within the area by addressing FSC-related issues and concerns.
- Team Development: Cultivate the business skills and knowledge of the Store Team and Franchisees.
- Market Growth/Share: Drive stores within the area to achieve market growth/share objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent adherence to operating systems, procedures, policies, and other SBU & Corporate standards within all area stores.
- Sales & Profit-Building Plans: Enumerate and analyze area/store sales & profit-building plans.
- Technology and Systems: Evaluate the suitability of transferring technology, systems, and programs to stores to support area business plans and assess their effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Education: College graduate preferably in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business related course, Behavioral Science, and Industrial Engineering courses.
- Experience: At least 6 years store operations management experience in a quick service restaurant (QSR) industry.
Licenses/Certifications/Trainings:
Training on advance-level of business strategy development, training on advance-level of profit management, and financial analysis related programs.
Working Conditions:
- Pressure and Opposition: Be able to perform well even under pressure or opposition.
- Shifting Schedule: Can work on shifting schedule.
- Long Hours: Can work long hours/during holidays and special occasions.
- Travel: Willing to be assigned in other areas; handle the following areas: Bulacan, Pampanga, Baguio, La Union.
Internal Stakeholders:
- Corporate Functions: Corporate Engineering, Marketing, Human Resource, Network Development. Primary nature of interaction: Coordination on store-related concerns and requirements (i.e., physical structure, sales-building initiatives, training, development, and hiring needs).
External Stakeholders:
- External Partners: Store Contractors/Suppliers, Lessors, Government Reps: Coordinate/Negotiate district matters. Franchisees: Collaborate for business success and standards compliance.
