Senior Manager, Marketing Partnership Job Description

Company Overview: Netflix is a leading entertainment services provider with 278 million paid memberships in over 190 countries. We offer a wide variety of genres and languages, allowing members to play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere.

The Role: The Partner Marketing team drives awareness of the Netflix brand and captures subscriber acquisition through high-quality partnerships and promotions. Our partners include global electronics brands, local operators, and telcos who help us access new audiences and broader reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the marketing relationship with Broadband, Mobile, and pay TV partners as their first point of contact.
  • Work with consumer insights to identify growth audiences, understand their barriers/drivers to sign up, and action these insights into a go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop upper-funnel marketing campaigns that promote the availability of Netflix, managing campaigns end-to-end across multiple channels (TV, Digital, OOH, etc).
  • Build data-driven, lower-funnel customer marketing plans focused on acquisition (upsell, cross-sell) across our partners' customer base.
  • Negotiate opportunities to engage, train, and incentivize partner agent teams across sales channels, including retail and call centers.
  • Track and measure the impact of our marketing activity through continuous testing and implement change where needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of through-the-line marketing experience (ATL/BTL), ideally within pay-tv, telecommunication, digital distribution, video games, music industry, etc.
  • An outstanding record of cultivating relationships with top telco, TV, electronics, brand, and/or agency marketers.
  • The ability to analyze data and translate this into a business strategy to help our partners meet mutually aligned goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM and experience developing upsell, cross-sell, and retention strategies is a must.
  • Understanding of partner sales channels (including training and incentives) is a big plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented and enjoys working independently without the support of a large team.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • A startup/scale-up mentality, experience building solutions from scratch, and an excitement for the unknown/untested.
  • A deep affection and passion for entertainment.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, generous pension scheme, and 25 days annual leave.
