Role of the HSE SupervisorAs an HSE Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the implementation and management of comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental programs that align with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe working environment for all employees by effectively planning, executing, and monitoring HSE policies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement HSE Policies: You will develop and implement HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to meet company and regulatory standards.
- Support Departmental Managers: You will support departmental managers and supervisors in all aspects of HSE issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct Regular Audits: You will conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to evaluate and improve safety systems and procedures.
- Lead HSE Initiatives: You will lead HSE initiatives, including ISO certifications and safety meetings, to promote a safety-first culture.
- Investigate Accidents: You will investigate accidents, complete reports, and share lessons learned with management.
- Provide HSE Training: You will provide HSE training and orientation to new employees, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with External Authorities: You will coordinate with external audit organizations and authorities on HSE matters.
- Manage Safety Statistics: You will manage safety statistics and reporting, ensuring timely communication of HSE performance.
- Travel to Company Locations: You will travel to various company and field locations to oversee HSE activities and perform audits.
- Ensure Safe Facilities: You will ensure that all company facilities provide a safe and healthy environment for employees.
- Collaborate with Team Members: You will collaborate with team members to foster a high-performance work environment and promote company values.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven Supervisory Experience: Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead by example.
- Knowledge of ISO Standards: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA 18001 standards.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, First Aid, and Occupational Health and Safety qualifications.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Work Location: Primarily field-based with regular visits to the yard and operational sites.
- Working Days and Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
