Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Software Development Team Lead to lead our Release Management team and drive the growth and evolution of Developer Productivity Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Release Management team, its growth, and evolution to Developer Productivity Engineering.
- Define, prioritize, and manage the team's backlog.
- Provide a satisfying developer experience by optimizing development processes, tools, practices, and automation.
- Complete tasks more quickly.
- Maintain high-quality code.
- Reduce the time it takes to deliver software products and updates.
Technical Responsibilities
- Provide product development internal tooling and technical processes.
- Manage Jenkins CI system used company-wide for both product/project-specific development.
- Manage the product release process.
- Manage GitLAB hosting (SaaS) used for code hosting and collaboration.
- Manage the Issue tracker used for product development.
- Manage/run several internal production and/or testing servers (Ubuntu LTS on AWS).
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications.
- 1+ years of experience in a team lead position.
- 5+ years of experience in release management and/or managing CI systems (preferably Jenkins).
- 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Ubuntu Linux or similar).
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Apache2, Git.
- Experience with scripting (bash, python) is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible is a plus.
- Experience managing GitLab is a plus.
- Experience with AWS Cloud is a plus.
