As a key member of our core technology team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our new generation of games. Your expertise in Java will help refine our technology stack and drive innovation.

With a strong analytical mindset, you will write well-structured code, work with complex codebases, and ensure performance and scalability. Your proactive approach will enable you to work independently and effectively communicate with the tech org.

You will be part of a team that builds and maintains technology to support the studio in creating new franchises. This includes integrating with existing tech, developing creative solutions, investigating problems, and coaching fellow developers.

As a Java Backend Developer, you will work closely with game teams, enjoying a collaborative and dynamic environment where your ideas are valued. You will be adaptable, a fast learner, and passionate about working with new technology.

You will be responsible for automating and improving processes, ensuring high-quality delivery, and promoting our DevOps methodology. Your skills will include architecting, designing, and implementing components, features, and systems in Java.

Other key skills include supporting game servers, working with UNIX environments, Git, and providing mentorship to junior developers. Experience with developing backend for mobile apps, C#, and Unity engine is a plus.

Experience with Gradle build systems will be highly valued.
