Quality Assurance Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and enhance the testing and quality assurance framework for our sophisticated IIoT platform, focusing on backend operations. Oversee and maintain the testing environment to guarantee the ongoing quality of our solutions across various deployment models (on-premise and cloud). Engage in a wide range of activities including test strategy formulation, requirements assessment, test design and automation, quality control, and supporting the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate within a cross-functional and distributed team, employing agile methodologies.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience in software testing, particularly in automating tests for contemporary backend and web applications, preferably within the IIoT sector. Proficient in Java, scripting languages, automation tools, and familiar with standard web service interface technologies such as REST and SOAP. Familiarity with testing frameworks like REST Assured, Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, among others. Experience with data storage solutions (NoSQL, SQL). Understanding of Agile methodologies, Open Source tools, Build/CI/CD processes, Docker, and Linux environments. Knowledge of methodologies such as A/TDD, BDD, and MBT. Proficient in English (both written and spoken), with additional skills in Spanish and German being advantageous. Highly organized individual. Eagerness to learn new technologies. Passion for working in agile teams with strong communication abilities. Resourceful and possesses a problem-solving mindset. Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
