Tax/Transaction Attorney

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled tax/transaction attorney to join our team at Marbella Accounting. As a tax advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our firm's work on international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic investments.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Coordinate tax advice from external international top-tier providers to counsel various businesses on structuring, negotiating, and consummating a broad range of M&A and investment transactions.
• Reconcile tax advice internally with the accountancy department and work closely with the Financial department under the supervision of a Financial Controller.
• Identify tax elements of the transaction, engage outside counsel, review advice, and identify risks.
• Prepare and review loan agreements, and assist the accounting team to book the correct entries for each transaction.
• Participate in overseeing due diligence, working collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams, and hiring and managing outside counsel.

**Requirements**

• Strong academic credentials, including a degree in Tax and admission to practice in the UK or any other English-speaking jurisdiction.
• Experience as a tax advisor on M&A transactions and international companies.
• Knowledge of the basic principles of Corporate Finance and transaction KPIs.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a big 4.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly and simply explain complex ideas.
• Sound and practical business judgment, as well as common sense and a good sense of humor.
• English must be your first language or have exceptional English skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with M&A.
• Admitted to practice in the UK or an English-speaking jurisdiction.

**What We Offer**

€30,000 - €45,000 gross per year (DoE)
