The Financial Manager & Reporting Team Lead is a key member of the Finance Management Team at West Coast Supply Group, responsible for leading the Accounting and Financial Reporting process.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with experience in managing a team and overseeing the financial aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and monitoring all accounting processes to ensure timely and complete financial reporting
  • Preparing and monitoring the monthly closing schedule to meet the required timelines
  • Ensuring a trustworthy monthly consolidation process with checks and balances on accruals, intercompany transactions, consolidation eliminations, participations, external shareholders, and equity
  • Consulting with the Business Control team on internal requirements to support decision-making
  • Having sufficient knowledge of all processes leading to entries in the General Ledger and judging potential business changes on their impact on the balance and P&L

The Financial Manager & Reporting Team Lead will be responsible for leading the Annual Audit process with the external auditor, preparing year-end closing planning, and consulting with the Financial Control team on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the requirements of the annual reporting process.

The ideal candidate is an ambitious leader who wants to get the best out of themselves and the team, with experience in managing a team, annual accounts, consolidation, monthly reports, working with deadlines, and working with external partners like accountants.

Key qualifications include:

  • Living in the Netherlands
  • Having a Bachelor's degree
  • Being fluent in English
  • Developing a vision independently and taking decisions
