Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Accounting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure compliance with Spanish accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies; support in maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and annual budgets for solar projects; track and report on budget variances, identifying cost-saving opportunities; monitor financial performance metrics, including cash flow and profitability.

  • Financial Control and Auditing: Implement financial controls and ensure compliance with internal control procedures; assist in the coordination of internal and external audits; monitor adherence to corporate governance and financial regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow and Capital Management: Assist in managing the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operations and project execution; work closely with the Senior Financial Manager to optimize capital allocation for solar projects; track funding sources, including loans, grants, and private investments.
  • Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings and regulatory reports in both local and international jurisdictions; stay updated on relevant tax laws and renewable energy incentives affecting solar projects.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, investors, and stakeholders; provide financial insights to support decision-making on project investments and expansions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written). Italian and French will be valuable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) for financial analysis and modeling; familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in finance, preferably in renewable energy, project finance, or related sectors.
