R&D Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in Zaragoza, Spain. As an R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects related to the performance of dry transformers, contributing to the successful execution of our roadmap.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute R&D projects following our internal Gate Model, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery according to priorities.
- Challenge technical issues, projects, and processes, transferring knowledge and findings from lab scale to production environment.
- Support product care activities, monitoring quality performance of products under your responsibility.
- Drive the implementation of resulting actions in active products or new developments.
- Provide technical support to production factories.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least 2 years' experience in product development and/or design of industrial equipment, preferably dry-type transformers. Expertise in mechanical and/or thermal performance of epoxy resin is highly valued. Strong initiative, creativity, and attention to detail. Collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Spanish and English.
