Reliability and Automation Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Engineer to join our Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon. As a key member of our Global RME Central Team, you will play a critical role in maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools, and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.
- Coordinate with internal teams to uncover infrastructure improvement areas and remove them through automation.
- Contribute toward the forward-looking vision for the team and help improve operational excellence by reducing technical debt.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Experience in professional software development, with a focus on designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Hands-on experience with networking, storage systems, operating systems, and programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
