**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an Fpga Design Engineer to join our Technology Exploration Unit in Granada, Spain. As an assistant R&D engineer, you will be a key member of our team, involved in research and development tasks in telecommunications and deterministic networking. Your responsibilities will include understanding requirements, developing innovative projects, planning new features, and ensuring all developments meet specifications. You will also identify opportunities to improve product performance, efficiency, and design, using your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure the highest quality results within scheduling, budget, and effort constraints.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop key firmware and FPGA elements of different prototypes for Time Sensitive Networking (TSN)
* Validate designs by producing test benches, simulations, and experimental evaluation strategies
* Participate in internal meetings to build comprehensive work plans, manage budgets, and personnel efforts for projects
* Write deliverables, dissemination material, and assist in project-related communication activities
* Attend workshops and other events related to industrial R&D projects and initiatives

**Requirements**
* Master's Degree in Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* Excellent written and dissemination skills in English (advanced Cambridge certificate or similar speaking skills)
* General knowledge of software engineering, embedded Linux, and Linux kernel drivers
* Passion, energy, and high motivation to participate in industrial R&D projects and initiatives
