The Team

Our Product & Engineering team is a collaborative and autonomous group that values open-mindedness and creativity. As a Technical Writer, you'll have the opportunity to grow with us and take on new challenges from day one.

The Role

We're seeking a skilled Technical Writer who can communicate complex ideas in a simple and elegant way. If you're curious, passionate about creating technical information, and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, revise, and publish high-quality documentation for our software applications.
  • Build relationships with product and engineering teams and participate in Agile development environments.
  • Become a subject matter expert in your product area and develop expertise in software documentation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create consistent and high-quality documentation.
  • Write, edit, and review product UI components, in-app text strings, and error messages.
  • Partner with our Customer Support and Community teams to create a seamless self-service experience for customers.
  • Analyze feedback, support tickets, and interviews to improve documentation quality.

Requirements

  • You're a self-starter who can take initiative and work independently to gather information and create high-quality content.
  • You have prior experience documenting SaaS, client-server, on-premise, and cloud software applications.
  • You're comfortable working in Agile development environments and can participate in feature team meetings.
  • You enjoy learning new products and testing the documentation you write.
  • You're confident in managing multiple tasks and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have excellent content planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • You're an excellent writer, editor, and publisher with experience working in enterprise software.
  • You have experience with Markdown, HTML, CSS, SQL, or other Web technologies.
  • You have excellent spoken and written English skills.
