The Institut Josep Carreras (IJC) is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Leukemia and Immuno-Oncology Research department. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development of experimental therapeutics research.
Key Responsibilities- Implement experimental methods in molecular biology and biochemistry
- Execute in vitro assays using established cell lines and primary cells
- Use specialized analytical systems such as flow cytometry
- Design and execute in vivo mouse experiments
- Handle laboratory management duties
- At least three years of experience as a lab technician performing molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, and laboratory management duties
- Experience in the use of flow cytometry
- FELASA accreditation for animal experimentation and at least three years of experience working with mice as experimental models (mandatory)
- Fluent in spoken English
