About the Role

Mysheetmusictranscriptions is seeking a highly skilled Orchestral Transcriber to join our team of music experts. As an Orchestral Transcriber, you will be responsible for transcribing accurate full orchestral or big ensemble pieces from a given audio source.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe accurate full orchestral or big ensemble pieces from a given audio source, with the ability to easily distinguish various independent voices in a mix.
  • Create publish-ready editions as per current industry standards regarding music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values.
  • Provide clean, reliable, accurate sheet music deliverables in digital format using standard music notation software.
Requirements
  • At least 100 transcriptions experience (not arrangements) involving full orchestral or big ensemble pieces.
  • Proficiency with at least one of the following music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, Dorico.
  • Fluent English or Spanish skills.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read, understand, and acknowledge our house-style guidebook and onboarding documents.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High level of self-discipline.
  • Fluent in any other language to transcribe and hyphenate vocals.
  • Experience collaborating with other musicians and/or clients.
