Join Microsoft's Web Experiences Team

We're seeking a Principal Product Manager to expand and scale our responsible AI and safety partnerships. As a key member of our team, you'll build connections with industry, academia, and safety stakeholders to promote research, gain insights, and gather actionable data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with external entities (researchers, press, others in industry, regulators) to gain insights and foster new safety-related research.
  • Drive the use of 3rd party data sets like fact checks to improve safety of products.
  • Influence and engage with cross-functional internal partners, external partners, including senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to gather input and garner support for vision, strategy, and roadmap for moderation and safety.
  • Work across multiple disciplines, to define and influence the long-term vision and strategy for the feature areas based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user research, the competitive landscape, and Microsoft's business goals and strategy.
  • Influence the overall policy and strategy for responsible AI and safety at Microsoft.
  • Own and partner with others to driving business impact across the organization through shared OKR's and KPI's on product safety.
  • Identify data-informed, short-term, and long-term investment opportunities, evaluates tradeoffs, and prioritizes investments in consultation with cross-functional partners.
About the Role:

This is a full-time role that requires up to 50% work from home. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
