Informatics Specialist for Clinical Solutions

At Roche, we are seeking a skilled Informatics Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of clinical informatics and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
About the RoleThis position will involve working closely with clinicians, analysts, and IT professionals to design, implement, and optimize clinical information systems (CIS) and electronic health records (EHRs). The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to communicate complex technical information effectively, and possess a deep understanding of clinical workflows and data analytics.
The primary focus of this role will be to support the development and implementation of clinical decision support systems (CDSS) that provide real-time guidance and alerts to clinicians. This will involve working with subject matter experts to identify clinical knowledge gaps, designing and implementing CDSS solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to deploy and maintain these systems.
In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of healthcare delivery and policy.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement CIS and EHR solutions to improve patient care and outcomes;
- Collaborate with clinicians and analysts to identify clinical knowledge gaps and design CDSS solutions;
- Work with stakeholders to deploy and maintain CDSS systems and ensure they meet clinical and operational requirements;
- Analyze and interpret clinical data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements;
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders and provide training as needed.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, nursing, public health);
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical informatics, health IT, or a related field;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex clinical data;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Familiarity with CDSS development tools and methodologies, as well as EHR systems and standards.
We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
