As a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Roche, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between clinical practice and healthcare technology. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and optimize clinical information systems, including electronic health records and clinical decision support systems. Your expertise in clinical informatics will help drive the development of innovative solutions that improve patient care delivery and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand clinical workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement clinical information systems that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
- Develop and maintain clinical decision support systems that provide real-time guidance and alerts to clinicians.
- Educate clinicians and staff on the effective use of clinical information systems and clinical decision support systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to clinical informatics and data analytics.
Requirements
- BS or advanced degree in clinical care (RN, PA, NP, MD, etc.).
- Clinical practice experience, preferably in cardiovascular disease, oncology, or neurology.
