Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy to reduce procurement expenses and drive business growth.
- Lead procurement strategies for the suppliers' panel, ensuring optimal supplier management and risk mitigation.
- Develop and implement category knowledge development, process optimization, and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development activities and cross-sectional projects.
- Establish and maintain purchasing standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Initiate and lead regional sourcing processes, negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Support plant project teams and stakeholders, resolving supplier-related issues and managing supplier relationships.
- Establish and update an approved supplier panel, creating and centralizing a database for procurement category management.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the industrial sector.
- Fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
- Proficient in Office software.
- Excellent soft skills, business intelligence, and work ethics.
- Ability to work with self-responsibility and influential capabilities.
- Hands-on doer with an entrepreneurial spirit.
