Job Title: Procurement Category ManagerWe're seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating with Product Development and conducting sourcing and procurement for assigned product categories.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals
- Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and potential suppliers
- Establish and manage a network of reliable suppliers
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and manage contract renewals and compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and category management, preferably in a technology startup or fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of setting up and managing suppliers and categories from scratch
- International experience with a proven track record of setting up different regions
