Job Title: Risk Oversight Senior Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Oversight Senior Analyst to join our team at Empresa reconocida. As a key member of our Risk Monitoring Team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and challenging credit risk metrics, as well as other risks, for our Western Hub units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Reporting: Consolidate and challenge main credit risk metrics, including S3, Provisions, and Cost of Credit, as well as other risks, for units under Western Hub scope.
- Regulatory and Management Reporting: Synthesize and elaborate key messages for senior management, helping to develop Western Hub regulatory and management reports.
- Project Implementation: Support, collaborate, and coordinate the implementation of different projects at local level, identifying main workstreams and monitoring progress.
- Strategic Planning: Support Strategic plans and budgeting processes.
- Performance Oversight: Oversee and ensure correct performance of local month-end provision calculation processes.
- Communication and Coordination: Regular communication and coordination with different departments/local units.
- Reporting and Presentations: Produce reports/presentations/supporting materials related to WH Risk Monitoring for different forums.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in Risk Control and Monitoring functions with strong expertise in credit risk.
- Project Implementation: Experience in project implementation/coordination of local units.
- Business Unit Experience: Experience in a local business unit is valuable.
- Collaboration: Joint work with other departments such as T&O; Capital.
Education:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in economics, business, engineering.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Analytical Skills: High level of analytical skills and ability to communicate/liase with other departments/units.
- Credit Risk Knowledge: Knowledge of credit risk related topics such as NDD or IFRS9.
- Communication Skills: High level of written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages such as French, Portuguese is valuable.
- Leadership: Ability to lead teams and projects.
Additional Information:
Occasional business travel will be required.
