Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of purchasing strategies under the supervision of the Procurement Manager.
- Participate in the process of identifying and selecting suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships and monitoring their performance, supply availability, pricing, and quality.
- Collaborate with the team to identify cost-saving opportunities and review current suppliers and market alternatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient purchasing needs are met.
- Track material orders and assist in resolving supply chain issues.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of purchase orders.
- Contribute to inventory planning to ensure timely deliveries.
- Participate in market research to stay informed about emerging trends and business opportunities.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Preferable education in areas such as Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Some previous experience in a similar position, ideally in purchasing or logistics.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow client specifications.
- Basic knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier selection, and negotiation.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-growing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate with different teams.
- Fluent level of English; French is a plus.
