About the Position

The Sales Renewal Opportunities Developer is responsible for maintaining renewal contracts on mid-to-high value opportunities and identifying trade up opportunities with existing customers. This role involves direct engagement with sales and technical teams throughout our partner network, as well as WatchGuard's internal sales team, to support their sales efforts through various selling and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building renewal pipelines by working closely with partners and end users to ensure all current customers are contacted regarding upcoming or expired licenses.
  • Daily calls to approximately 50 customers and partners to qualify renewal opportunities.
  • Maintaining regular contact with channel partners to deliver prequalified sales opportunities via Salesforce, email, and phone communication.
  • Remain knowledgeable about WatchGuard's products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Calling opportunities primarily over $1,000 each, identifying customer partner preferences, qualifying if the end user is renewing and confirming chosen partner.
  • Sharing opportunities via the Salesforce portal with partners and following up with end users or partners to ultimately close renewals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in sales or telemarketing, preferably in a technology or licensing renewals environment.
  • Energetic and high-quality team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum medium-grade professional training in business, sales, or marketing related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Native Spanish language proficiency and fluency in English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of computer networking, network security, and computer peripheral products in network environments is an asset.
  • History of meeting and/or surpassing goals and quotas.
  • Proficiency with desktop computers; MS Office, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
