Job Title: Associate Solutions Architect, Partner Sales

At Amazon, we're committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. We're seeking a highly skilled Associate Solutions Architect to join our Partner Sales team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrators, providing architectural guidance and recommendations to promote and accelerate partner engagements worldwide.
  • Ensure customer and partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS, ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Be an AWS evangelist, educating customers and partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS.
  • Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and its partner solutions.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable hands-on implementation or consulting experience and a strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle or experience in infrastructure and network architecture, DevOps, or software engineering.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and a proven record of effective collaborations across multiple internal organizations and interactions with partner and customers.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience in infrastructure and network architecture, DevOps, or software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud or architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc.), products (i.e., Oracle, SAP) and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with both external and internal executives, IT Management, and developers.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly such as AWS Certification, e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
