Unlock Your Potential as a Senior Clinical Development Director

Thermo Fisher Scientific, a world-leading organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for securing and retaining business for PPD through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities focused on decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Position PPD as a primary or preferred provider for all clinical development work to be outsourced, qualifying deals and developing proposals including defining the solutions and recommending pricing structures to meet strategic company goals.
  • Lead RFP strategy calls, develop client proposals, prepare client presentations, and negotiate and close contracts.
  • Sign new business authorizations at or above assigned authorization goal.
  • Act as a liaison between sponsor and company on all business development activities and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and skills.
  • Extensive, senior-level sales experience for the Clinical/CRO/Laboratory Services markets is essential.
  • Proven track record of developing mid- and high-level business contacts.
