Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Director to drive the technology roadmap for Clinical Development at Novartis Farmacéutica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enabling the design and execution of clinical development plans and trials to develop high value medicines for our patients.

About the Role

As a Clinical Development Director, you will be accountable for the technology roadmap and delivery of toolsets and capability for the Clinical Development Organization. You will understand and identify requirements of the clinical development organization and drive opportunities to deliver those capabilities via bespoke solutions or leveraging toolsets across the Development functional verticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders in Clinical Development organization and across DDIT Development verticals to ensure delivery of capability is achieved through cross functional alignment and delivery of technology roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Act as a consultant and advisor providing guidance to improve complex global business processes, products, services, and software.
  • Engage with global senior business leaders and leverage the appropriate DDIT teams and Functions to determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and add value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline.
  • 1-2+ years in business partnering and delivering IT solutions in the pharma industry or similar industries.
  • 5+ years of experience with end-to-end Development processes and IT landscape and technologies across functional areas.
