As a Senior Medical Editor, you'll collaborate with us to develop high-quality medical content that meets or exceeds sponsor and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain familiarity with FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Represent the editorial group in Medical Writing, on study teams, and in cross-departmental project teams as needed.
- Monitor timelines and budgets for assigned projects and update stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide technical support and expertise as required.
- Conduct training and mentorship for medical editing staff.
- Advise medical writers, editors, and study teams on data integrity review, compilation, and editorial standards.
- Project lead for complex and large medical writing projects, including scheduling, leading team meetings, and ensuring deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical sciences, English, or journalism.
- Significant relevant publishing experience using Adobe Acrobat or other markup languages.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail, copyediting, data integrity review, accuracy, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, presentation, project management, and team-oriented skills.
- Excellent grammatical and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Familiarity with the AMA style guide and knowledge of FDA and EU requirements, ICH regulations, and ISO standards.
