Job Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and staging merchandise by department, marking items appropriately for placement in the facility, and delivering merchandise to the correct department.

You will also be responsible for stacking received merchandise on pallets or carts, completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notifying your manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and stage merchandise by department
  • Mark items appropriately for placement in the facility
  • Deliver merchandise to the correct department
  • Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
  • Notify your manager/supervisor of low stock levels

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. You will inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots. If necessary, you will refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. No related work experience is required, but previous supervisory experience would be beneficial. A valid license or certification is not necessary.

Able-bodied individuals with the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance are encouraged to apply. Additional physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving through narrow spaces, and working in confined or elevated areas.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development within Marriott International.
