International Development Manager

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with an international renewable developer to find an experienced International Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of projects, including land acquisition, site selection, preliminary design, and DA processes.
  • Identify potential development sites and manage feasibility analysis and due diligence to identify environmental, network connectivity, and land constraints.
  • Originate new projects and progress the development of our Client's portfolio through a structured project plan.
  • Coordinate development approvals and EPBC and oversee land acquisition for new projects.
  • Provide regular progress reports against project plans, reporting to project stakeholders and executive management.
Requirements:
  • Plus years of experience in a Development role within the utility-scale renewable energy sector.
  • Experience managing large-scale Solar projects in Australia from conception through to approvals.
  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience managing and developing project teams.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks associated with renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage project timelines and budgets and work in a fast-paced environment.
