Job OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our Data Science - QIS Team at our Spanish headquarters in Marbella. As a Senior Quant Researcher, you will participate in the development of new systematic trading strategies and showcase the value of our data for trading and investment purposes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and validating predictive signals within our data, filtering out irrelevant information.
- Formulating systematic trading strategies spanning multiple asset classes, enriching security-selection capabilities with Alternative Data.
- Offering data-driven insights, engaging in discussions about your research, and presenting trading strategies to leading quantitative researchers and portfolio managers.
- Effectively communicating intricate analytical concepts to management in a clear and concise manner.
We are looking for a PhD/MSc in Quantitative or Computational Finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant work experience as a quantitative researcher. You should have outstanding quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to develop original research and hypothesis testing.
Demonstrated proficiency in Python and SQL is required, with strong enthusiasm for technology and familiarity with big data technologies and machine learning highly advantageous.
