Helm is seeking a highly skilled Global SAP Key User to join our Corporate Accounting team in Corporate Finance. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading the Finance Key User Community and driving process improvements within our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Finance Key User Community: Take charge and serve as the primary interface to SAP gPO Finance and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Define System Requirements: Outline system needs based on financial requirements in a dynamic regulatory environment and spearhead implementation efforts with key users, the IT department, and external service providers.
- Provide Second-Level Support: Offer second-level support to finance key users globally, focusing on analyzing and effectively resolving issues.
- Identify and Resolve Improvement Areas: Responsible for spotting and addressing areas needing enhancement within Finance, driving process improvements and increasing efficiency.
- Develop Training Materials: Create comprehensive training materials and deliver thorough end-user training, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Organize and Oversee Testing: Organize efficient test setups for financial systems and supervise the testing process, ensuring that all systems are functioning as expected.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A university degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics, or a related commercial field.
- Practical Experience: Practical experience in an accounting position is crucial for this role, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- SAP S / 4 Hana Knowledge: Experience with SAP S / 4 Hana and an understanding of its improvement potentials, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive process improvements.
- Empathetic Key User: Ability to enhance the working lives of colleagues through SAP improvements, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
- Process Definition Experience: Demonstrable experience in defining processes, with a strong understanding of business operations and financial systems.
- Language and Travel: Fluency in English and flexibility for occasional international business travel are mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the globe.
