About the Role

We are seeking a skilled iOS Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop iOS mobile applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Work with the team to investigate design approaches, prototype technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Lead the architecture and design of features from conception to launch.
  • Collaborate with the UI and Design System teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Contribute to the improvement of engineering processes and tools to increase team effectiveness.

We work closely with design and mobile teams to build solutions that satisfy and delight our users. Requirements
  • Experience designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Professional software development experience, including iOS mobile application development in Swift.
  • Experience contributing to unit testing of mobile applications.
  • Experience writing custom UI components.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience developing applications using SwiftUI and Combine.
  • Experience with accessibility in mobile applications.
  • Experience optimizing apps UI performance.
