About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Design Engineer to support our team at Deimos in several projects regarding the design of various satellite platforms. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for proposing adequate design solutions, participating in production and industrialization activities, and collaborating with our team to deliver cutting-edge technologies for earth observation, communication satellites, and scientific missions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Deimos in design engineering activities for space systems and satellite platforms.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement design solutions for satellite platforms.
  • Participate in the production and industrialization of designs and drawings generated.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as CATIA.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft mechanical design, including product tree, composite structures, tolerances, and fixations.
  • Experience in writing design documentation, including design description reports, ICDs, and manufacturing drawings.
  • Detailed knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, thermal, or propulsion systems.
  • Knowledge of New Space approach and techniques.
  • Knowledge of low-level integration and manufacturing techniques.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of spacecraft analysis and design tools, such as NASTRAN/PATRAN, ESATAN, and FASTRAD.
  • Knowledge of MBSE philosophy.
  • Technical writing skills, including user-facing documentation.

English (B2 level as minimum)
