Job Title: Research Supervisor

At Control Risks, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Supervisor to join our VANTAGE team. As a Research Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our due diligence work and guiding researchers to produce exceptional reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project management of third-party due diligence: Ensure VANTAGE work is properly scoped, allocated to researchers, tracked, and ultimately delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communicate directly with clients to clarify project scope, address questions, and suggest potential additional research avenues.
  • Review and approve VANTAGE work, ensuring projects meet high quality standards and client specifications.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to global delivery standards.
  • Engage with colleagues in the Business Intelligence team to collaborate on VANTAGE work.
Regional Research Initiatives:
  • Assist Regional Research Manager in training new researchers in the VANTAGE methodology and approach.
  • Provide continual training and updates to the VANTAGE methodology and approach.
  • Monitor quality of work and provide feedback to researchers, motivating and guiding them to ensure focus and direction.
  • Interact regularly with other Supervisors to provide support and feedback on VANTAGE work.
Requirements:
  • Experience in writing, researching, and reviewing/editing due diligence reports.
  • Strong knowledge of research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives.
  • Experience influencing people across an organization, especially without direct reporting lines.
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines.
