Job Summary

Olx is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to join our Data Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for re-architecting our Tracking framework to increase its accuracy.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in software development and a passion for architecting, building, and scaling distributed systems. Your expertise in backend technologies, RESTful APIs, and integrating them into applications will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the general architecture of our web platforms and identify pain points where tracking may be different or difficult to transmit information between codebases.
  • Design an implementation framework that matches the technical reality of all countries and propose solutions to identified pain points.
  • Work alongside data engineers, software engineers, and a product manager to implement changes required to improve tracking accuracy.
  • Audit the implementation of Google Analytics 4 and provide guidance on leveraging its value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development with expertise in backend technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software design, object orientation, architectural patterns, and delivery patterns.
  • Familiarity with the mobile ecosystem, full mobile development life-cycle, common libraries, and languages.
  • Experience in testing automation and CI/CD processes.
  • Passion for architecting, building, and scaling distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
